Winter Shelter 2023

We anticipate 60 guests each night while the shelter is at King’s Grant. We need classes to provide the evening meals (planning the menu, purchasing food, preparing the meal, and cleaning up the kitchen), generally one class each evening, (take a look below for the classes committed to serving a meal). For early risers, the breakfast team is at work beginning at 4:30 (preparing, cooking, and cleaning up each morning). The church provides the food for breakfasts. Hospitality is a team this year, hosting and ministering and serving our guests while they’re on campus. We will also need a few men to spend the night as a security detail.

No More Going Thru the Motions

Hey Guys, the next Noble Man breakfast is Saturday May 15. In this series called, No More Excuses,” Tony Evans will talk about “No More Going Through the Motions.” Life can get fairly routine but we are called to more than mediocrity.

We’ll eat at 8am, watch the Tony Evans teaching video, then have a discussion on what we heard… we’ll be out the door by 9:30. If you have not already done so, take time to join the Noble Man Group (kgbc.us/noble) so you can keep up with events, dates, and resources I share to help you become the man of God he designed you to be.

The Crash Course – October 2020

What? Another class offered at the church?

Yep. This one is so important because it’s all about simplicity and clarity. It’s one thing to have a “connection class” for new members and regular attendees, but it is another thing to share information about the church to new comers, and those in the church have no clue what we are teaching! Let’s all get on the same page!

On Saturday October 31, 8am-10am, I’m inviting all church leaders to an abbreviated Crash Course (sort of like a crash course of the Crash Course). By church leaders (so no one will think this is for someone else) I mean if you are a deacon (active or not), Sunday school teacher or a small group leader, a ministry team leader, a committee member, choir member, praise team member… this class is for you. Did I miss anyone?
