The Connection Class

About the Connection Classconnect_puzzle

Use the form to let us know of your interest, and we will get in touch about one month in advance of the class.

This class is designed for new members and those interested in discovering what membership at King’s Grant is all about. It’s called The Connection Class because our desire is for you to become connected to what God is doing here, and how He can work through you.

We offer the class every few months, on two consecutive Sundays at 9:45 am or right after 11:00 worship for one Sunday (lunch and child care included). Call the church office or use the Connection Card to register. There is a course workbook, so registration is helpful.

Why offer a Connection Class?

What We Will Discuss

Topics include:

  1. Who we are: key phrases, events in history, documents, the bond we have in salvation, the purpose of the church, why the church even exists and our affiliations.
  2. Who you are: where you’ve been, your background, how you came to KGBC, your story, how you see God has gifted you, and our compatibility (as believer and congregation)
  3. What we stand for: what we believe, what we practice and what it means to be a member.
  4. What we have: our circles of commitment, our spiritual gifts, what spiritual gifts are, and what ours might be, and a listing of opportunities to use your gifts in ministry at KGBC.
