From Hurting to Hope

Our midweek Worship experience was tremendously meaningful and moving on March 20. Thank you for all who participated. Here is an image of our symbolic “Branches to Blossoms.” Below you will find the Scripture passage read by members of our congregation.

1 Peter 1:3.  Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ! In his great mercy he has given us new birth into a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead.

Psalm 31:24.  Be strong, and let your heart take courage, all you who wait for the Lord!

Jeremiah 29:11.  “For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, to give you a hope and a future.”

Zephaniah 3:17. The LORD your God is with you, the Mighty Warrior who saves.  He will take great delight in you; He will quiet you by His love, He will rejoice over you with singing.”

Isaiah 40:31. “But they who wait for the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles; they shall run and not be weary; they shall walk and not faint.”

Psalm 39:7. “And now, O Lord, for what do I wait? My hope is in you.”

Romans 8:18. “The sufferings of this present time are not worth comparing with the glory that is to be revealed to us.”

Revelation 22:12. Jesus said, “Behold, I am coming soon.”

2 Corinthians 12:9. But he said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may rest on me.”

Hosea 6:3, “Let us strive to know the Lord. His appearance is as sure as the dawn. He will come to us like the rain, like the spring showers that water the land.”

Isaiah 35:1. “The wilderness and the dry land will be glad; the desert will rejoice and blossom like a rose.”
