Our Affiliation

KGBC is aligned with both the Cooperative Baptist Fellowship (CBF) and the Southern Baptist Convention (SBC). We consider ourselves to be Virginia Baptists (BGAV) more than anything else. We also embrace the 1963 Baptist Faith and Message rather than the 2000 version. While we are united in the essentials of faith and salvation, in the non-essentials, we have liberty and grace. It’s beautiful that we have unity rather than uniformity.
