Proverbs 3:5-6 – “Trust in the Lord with all your heart and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will make your paths straight.”
Greetings in Christ,
Here is a question to think about this week:
How can you know that you are trusting God and not your own plans?
Most people are resourceful and have good ideas with great intentions. However, how can you be absolutely certain that you are being led by God and not your own thoughts and ideas?
This is often an impasse for many followers of Christ.
Take a moment today to read Proverbs 3:5-6 and ask yourself the following questions:
- What most influences my choices?
- What place does godly wisdom have in my decision making and plans?
- Can I honestly say that I give God time to speak to me when facing decisions?
This coming Sunday, July 14 (as a part of the “Say Yes” Series), I will be teaching on the topic of God’s guidance in our lives and how to know the difference between God’s way and our impulses and plans.
