John 1:19-34

Now that Jesus is revealed, there are two necessary responses:

  1. THE EVERYDAY: a proper disposition of one’s life. (1:19-28)
    Three attitudes we cannot avoid:

    1. self-denial
    2. humility
    3. reverence
  2. THE ETERNAL: a proper recognition of His life. (1:29-34)
    Three truths we cannot miss:

    1. the answer to sin
    2. the fullness of life
    3. the promise of God’s personal presence with His own through the Holy Spirit.
