Awana Update for Nov 30

This week is the KGBC Business Meeting starting at 5 pm. We will have AWANA at the usual time, 4:30 – 6:30 pm. If you know of any parents that would like to attend the Business Meeting, we will be glad to have the kids (3 years old – 6th grade) join us for the evening!

PARENT’S NIGHT OUT: Winter Wonderland

Dinner – Fun – Movie

We have about 40 kids signed up so far – this is going to be a lot of Christmas FUN! We are going to share the Christmas Story with the kids, sing some Christmas carols and make some Christmas ornaments! Dinner and a movie are also included!

We have sign-up sheets available on Sunday. We are making plans for this event and need you to sign up by Wednesday, December 6. This will be a great date night or you can maybe do a little Christmas shopping without the little ones!

We need kids’ names, Ages, parents’ names, cell phone (that you will have with you that night) and food allergies (and any other medical info we may need to know).

Upcoming Events:

Sunday, December 10 – Join us for the Church Wide Christmas Program – “A Night of Worship – Hallelujah to the Baby Who Came!” in the Sanctuary at 6 pm. AWANA will be from 4:30 – 5:30 pm that night so we can all attend.

DATE CHANGE: Friday, March 16 from 6:30 – 8:30 pm

We will be ordering cars at the end of January so be on the lookout at the beginning of the year for sign ups!

Don’t forget to bring back your boxes for Operation Christmas Child! They are due This Sunday so we can deliver them to the regional pickup locations next week!

If you miss a week, don’t forget that parents can sign off the next section to catch up. Ask the teachers on Sunday if you have any questions. We are keeping the kids on schedule this year with all kids working on the same section each week and appreciate your help! You can check your child’s book to see if they are missing any sections.
